  • JPG or JPEG

  • PNG

  • GIF (static)

What size file can I upload?

Upload any image file in a compatible format, up to 5 MB each in size.

How do I upload?

Select Image Uploads on the left toolbar to get started. You have the option to either drag and drop image files onto the page or to browse on your device.

Drag and drop

Drag the image file from your device's file explorer onto the design canvas in the Venngage Editor. It will appear on the design canvas, and under the "Image Uploads" tab in the left sidebar.

A user drags an image file from the side of their screen onto the design canvas in the Venngage Editor. The image file appears on the design canvas, and also as a thumbnail under the Image Uploads tab in the left sidebar, which opens when the image appears on the canvas.

Browse files/using file explorer

Click on the Upload Image button under Image Uploads in the left sidebar.

Use the file explorer on your device to select the image you want to upload, then click "Open". The image file will appear as a thumbnail, under the Image Uploads tab in the left sidebar.

A user clicks the Image Uploads tab in the left sidebar of the Venngage Editor. Under the tab is a button with the words Upload image; the user clicks on the button. A file explorer window opens over the screen, from the user's device. The user selects an image from the file explorer and clicks Open on the file explorer. The file the appears as a thumbnail under the Image Uploads tab in the left sidebar of the Venngage Editor. The user clicks the file, and it appears on the design canvas in the Editor.

Replace an image by uploading your own

Double-click the image you want to replace on the canvas, or select the image on the canvas and click "Replace" in the top toolbar.

When the Replace Menu opens in the left toolbar, click the "Uploads" tab. Select an image from under the tab that you've previously uploaded, or click "Upload Image" to upload a new one.

A user clicks on an image of a pug with a circular blue border around it on the canvas of their design in the Venngage Editor. The Replace button appears in the top toolbar and the user clicks it. The Replace menu opens in a fly-over panel to the left; the user clicks the third tab in the menu, labeled Uploads. The user clicks the Upload Image button on the tab; this opens their file explorer. The user selects an image from the file explorer, a picture of a black and white Labrador mix holding a stick in its mouth. This image appears as a thumbnail on the Uploads tab of the Replace menu. The user clicks on it, and it replaces the image of the pug in the blue circle on the design canvas.

Delete an uploaded image

Open the Image Uploads tab in the left sidebar.

Hover over the image you want to delete.

Click the small trash icon in the bottom right corner of the image when it appears.

Select "Remove" to confirm deleting the image; to close without deleting, select "Close".

A user clicks the Image Uploads tab in the left sidebar of the Venngage design Editor. The user hovers over the thumbnail of an image of a black and white dog under the upload button. The small icon of a garbage can appears on the image thumbnail; the user clicks it. A pop-up appears with the heading Remove image confirmation, and the user clicks the Remove button to confirm. When the pop-up closes, the image of the black and white dog is no longer visible under the Image Uploads tab.
