The AI Icon Generator lets you instantly create unique icons in Venngage using text prompts. Instead of scrolling through libraries, simply describe what you need, and AI will generate custom icons tailored to your design.

How to Use the AI Icon Generator

1. Open your design in the editor
Start by creating a new design or opening an existing one in Venngage.

2. Access the AI Icon Generator
In the left toolbar, click Icons > Generate Icons.

👉 You can also find it in the AI Tools Panel, along with the Image Generator and other AI-powered features. This is the quickest way to explore all AI tools in one place.

3. Enter your prompt
Type a specific and clear prompt into the text box.

4. (Optional) Choose an icon style
Before generating, you can select an icon style filter. This helps guide the AI so the results match the look you want.

5. Generate icons
Click the Arrow button to generate.

AI will create a few icon options based on your prompt.

6. Review and choose your icon
Simply click on the icon you want, and it will be added directly to your canvas.

Smarter Prompting for Icons

Not sure how to phrase your AI prompts? In the Icon Generator, you’ll now see a pencil icon next to the prompt box. Click it to automatically enhance your prompt with extra detail. You can review the expanded prompt, tweak it if needed, and get a more specific—and more accurate—output.

This makes it easier to generate icons that perfectly match your vision, even if you’re unsure how to describe them.

How do I stop a generation?
There’s no direct cancel button, but you can use the back arrow to return before the results finish loading.

How do I apply an AI-generated icon to my design?
Just click the icon you like, and it will instantly appear on your canvas.

Can we go back to a previous generation?
❌ No, previous generations are not saved.

Can we regenerate icons?
✅ Yes. Re-enter or adjust your prompt to create new options.

Tips for better prompts:

• Be specific about the object, style, and shape.

• Add descriptors like outline, filled, minimalist, flat, colorful.

• Short, clear and specific prompts produce clearer icons.
