The AI Image Generator in Venngage allows you to turn text prompts into unique visuals — right inside the Editor. Simply describe what you want, and AI will generate multiple image options for you.

Now, you can also choose from comprehensive new style filters categorized into Photorealism and Illustration to guide the look and feel of your generated images.

How to Use the AI Image Generator

1. Open your design in the editor

   • Start by creating a new design or opening an existing one in Venngage.

2. Access the AI Image Generator

   • In the left toolbar, click Images > Image Library, then click Generate images.

     

     👉 You can also find it in the AI Tools Panel, along with the Icon Generator and other AI-powered features. This is the quickest way to explore all AI tools in one place.

     

3. Enter your prompt

   • Type a specific and clear prompt into the text box.

     

   • Example: "Illustration of a mountain landscape at sunrise, with pine trees in the foreground."

4. (Optional) Choose an image style

   Photorealism Styles

   These filters create realistic, high-detail images that look like photographs. They’re ideal for presentations, reports, or templates that need a professional and natural look.

   Available styles include:

   • Organic – Soft, natural lighting and textures.

   • Studio – Clean, high-quality portraits or product shots.

   • Enterprise – Professional corporate visuals and settings.

   • Cinematic – Dramatic lighting and atmosphere.

   • Vintage – Aged tones with a classic, nostalgic feel.

   • Fantasy – Imaginative and surreal compositions.

   • Bokeh – Blurred backgrounds for depth and focus.

   • Clear Sky – Bright, open environments.

   • Coastal – Fresh, ocean-inspired tones and settings.

   • Cold – Cool color temperature and crisp tones.

   • Ethereal – Soft, dreamlike imagery.

5. Generate images

   • Click Generate images. The AI will create a few image options based on your prompt.

6. Review and choose your image

   • Scroll through the results and simply click on the image you like. It will be added directly to your design canvas.

7. Edit as needed

   • Once the image is on your canvas, you can resize, crop, or apply filters just like any other image.

Smarter Prompting for Images

Not sure how to phrase your AI prompts? In the image generator, you’ll now see a pencil icon next to the prompt box. Click it to automatically enhance your prompt with extra detail. You can review the expanded prompt, tweak it if needed, and get a more specific—and more accurate—output.

This makes it easier to generate images that perfectly match your vision, even if you’re unsure how to describe them.

FAQs

How do I stop a generation?
There isn’t a “Cancel” button, but you can click the back arrow to return before the results finish loading.

How do I apply an AI-generated image to my design?
Simply click on the generated image you want, and it will be added directly to your canvas.

Can I go back to a previous generation?
❌ No. Previous generations are not saved once you move on.

Can I regenerate images?
✅ Yes. You can re-enter the same prompt or adjust it slightly to generate new variations.

Tips for better prompts:

• Be specific about the subject, style, and mood.

• Use keywords like realistic, cartoon, minimalist, watercolor or select from the styles option.

• Keep prompts clear and specific for best results.

Examples:

• ❌ Weak prompt: cat

• ✅ Strong prompt: realistic watercolor illustration of a cat sitting on a windowsill with plants around it
