Replace Images or Icons in your Design

The Replace Image feature gives you flexible options to swap visuals on your canvas. You can upload your own, browse Venngage’s stock library, or use AI to generate a new one.

 

Replace with Your Own Image

  • Select the photo on your design canvas.

  • Click the Replace button in the top toolbar, or use the small Replace icon next to the selected photo.

  • Upload an image from your computer.

  • The new image will automatically replace the old one in the same position.

 

 

Replace using Venngage's Stock Photos

  • Select the photo on your design canvas.

  • Click the Replace button in the top toolbar, or use the small Replace icon next to the selected photo.

  • Click on the Image Library tab.

  • Search for an image using a keyword.

  • Click on your chosen photo—it will instantly swap into your design.

 

 

Replace an image with AI

  • Select the photo on your design canvas.

  • Click the Replace button in the top toolbar, or use the small Replace icon next to the selected photo.

  • Choose Image Library > AI Image Generator.

  • Enter a descriptive text prompt for the new image.

        Example: “Cartoon minimalist illustration of a happy dog sitting (face only).”

  • Click Generate images and select the image you want.
     

Important Note:

This feature uses AI credits. All AI tools in Venngage share the same daily credit pool.

Add alt text

Remember to add alt text descriptions to any images that aren't decorative, and to update the alt text on any images you replace. Learn more about how to write concise but helpful alt text.
