Venngage offers a robust set of tools to transform your images, making them more engaging and aligned with your design vision. The Image Effects menu provides a variety of options.
 

Filters

• Greyscale: Convert your image to black and white.

• Sepia: Apply a warm, brownish tone for a vintage feel.

• Warm: Add a yellowish tint for a cozy atmosphere.

• Cool: Introduce a bluish hue for a calm effect.

• Retro: Give your image a nostalgic, faded look.

• Intensify: Boosts the colors and contrast for a more vibrant, striking image.
                  Note: The Intensify filter works best on photos with rich colors to make them pop on your design.
   

  

   

Adjust

• Brightness: Modify the lightness or darkness of the image.

• Contrast: Adjust the difference between light and dark areas.

• Saturation: Increase or decrease the intensity of colors.

• Tint: Apply a subtle color overlay to the entire image.

  

Color Overlay

• Apply a colored tint with adjustable transparency to create a mood or highlight elements.

  

Shadows

• Add a visual drop shadow effect to elements for depth and emphasis.

  

Return to Original

• Reset all settings to restore the image to its original state.

  

How to Apply Image Effects

1. Upload and Select Image:

   • Navigate to the Images section.

   • Upload your desired image and add it to the canvas.

   • Alternatively, you can open a template directly in the canvas to edit its images.

   • Ensure the image is selected.

2. Access Image Effects:

   • Open the Edit Image panel by double-clicking the image or clicking the Edit Image icon above the image.

     

3. Apply Desired Effects:

   • Choose from the available filters, adjustments, color overlay, or shadow options.

   • Adjust intensity using the slider or manually input a value for precise control.

   • Sliders/manual input are also available for other effects where applicable, such as overlay transparency and shadow opacity.

   • Customize each effect to your preference.

4. Reset if Necessary:

   • If you wish to revert to the original image, click the Return to Original button.

Note: You can also use the Replace button to swap the image, and the applied effects will carry over to the new image.
