If you see a “Download Error” message when exporting your design (PNG, PDF, PPT, or HTML), it’s usually related to file size, internet connection, or incompatible elements. Below are common issues and how to fix them. 

General Download Errors (PNG, PNG HD, PDF, Interactive PDF, PowerPoint)

Why it happens:

• Your design is too large (many pages, large images, or lots of elements).

• Internet connection is unstable.

Solutions:

• Check design size: Large designs with more than 30 pages or big image files may fail to download.

• Download in parts:

  • Go to Download > Select Pages > Custom.

    

  • Enter a page range (e.g., 1–25), download, then repeat for the remaining pages.

• Check your internet: Switch networks or ensure your connection is stable.

HTML Export Errors

Why it happens:

• One or more links in your design contain incompatible characters (like %, $, &).

  

Solution:

• Use a URL shortener (e.g., ShortURL) to replace links with simplified versions.

• Update the hyperlinks in your design with the shortened URLs.

• Try exporting again.

⚠️ Note: HTML export works only in the Classic Editor.

Items Shifted After Download

Why it happens:

• Browser issues or zoom settings may cause text, icons, or images to move.

Solution:

• Try downloading in another browser.

• Set your browser zoom to 100%.

• If issues continue, contact support.

Design Cut Off or Extra Blank Space

Why it happens:

• Page size is too small or not adjusted properly.

Solution:

• Go to Settings and adjust page dimensions (use standard sizes or set custom).

  

• Click Publish > Preview to confirm the new layout before downloading.

Special Characters Not Displaying

Why it happens:

• Some fonts don’t support special or non-Latin characters.

Solutions:

• Download a test copy to confirm if characters export correctly.

• Upload your own font with special characters using the Custom Font feature (available on Business plans).

• Note: Limited Arabic and Chinese fonts are available at the bottom of the font list.
