Smart widgets make it easy to create professional, interactive designs in Venngage. You can customize every aspect, from text and icons to colors and borders—directly within the Editor.

Edit Text in a Smart Widget

Double-click into a smart widget to modify its content or appearance.

• To edit text, double-click the text area and start typing.

• You can also paste new text from another source.

• The text toolbar will appear at the top, allowing you to:

  

  • Make text bold, italic, or underlined

    

  • Change font, size, color, and alignment

    

  • Adjust line spacing/height, letter spacing, or add bullet/numbered lists

    

  • Insert hyperlinks using the Link tool
    

Change an Icon or Image

Some smart widgets include icons or images.

• Double-click the icon or image to open the Replace menu (or click the Replace button in the top toolbar).

  

• Select a new icon or photo to update the widget instantly.

Change Shape Color

You can easily customize the color of shapes within a smart widget:

1. Click on the shape inside the widget.

2. In the top toolbar, open the Color Tool.

   

3. Choose a color from the color wheel, Brand colors, or Swatch colors.

Customize Border Appearance

To adjust the border of a shape within a smart widget:

1. Click the Border Color Tool (a square outline icon beside the Fill Color tool).

   

2. From the Color Tool, you can:

   • Adjust border width with the slider or by entering a pixel value

     

   • Change border style (solid, dashed, or dotted)

     

   • Select a border color via color wheel, brand palette, HEX code, or eyedropper

     

   • Modify opacity using the slider or manually input a value
