Widgets are the building blocks of your design, such as text boxes, icons, and shapes. Venngage allows you to customize these elements so your design looks and feels exactly the way you want.
 

Customize Text, Text Styling, and Text Effect

Change the Text

• Double-click once on the text box and start typing.

Customize the Text Style

• Click on the text box.

• Text styling options will appear on the top toolbar. You can use these to change the text color, switch to another font, bold, italicize, and more. 

Apply Text Effects

You can also enhance your text using Text Effects in the top toolbar.

• Click the Effects button.

• Choose from options such as shadow, outline, glow, offset, repeat, or curve.

• Adjust settings like color, intensity, direction, and opacity using sliders and color pickers.

💡 Note: Text effects work with most fonts (including uploaded ones) and support different colors and sizes. However, highlights are not compatible with the curve effect.

Replace Icons

• Click on the icon.

• Select a new icon or an image from the Replace Menu.

Customize Border and Background

Customizing the Border

• Double click or click once on the item whose border you want to modify.

• In the top left toolbar, click the Border Color box to open the color picker.

• Adjust the border’s style (solid, dashed, or dotted) and thickness to fit your design.

• Use the Corner Rounding slider to adjust the sharpness or roundness of the corners.

Customizing the Background Color

• Click on the background of the text, the icon, or the entire item. Click once on the item to edit its background color.

• Click on the Fill Color icon and use the color picker to select a new color.

Delete an Item

• Click an item.

• Either hit the Delete key, right-click for the Delete action, or click the bin icon on the top toolbar.
