Text tools include styling like bolditalicunderline, alignment and line height.

Make the text bold, italic or underline

Click the text box and highlight the text you want to bold.

Click the Bold, Italic and/or Underline button on the top toolbar. To remove the style, click the button again.

A partial view of a canvas in the Venngage Editor shows a design with a light blue background, and text in a text box that reads 'Scholarship Program Application'. A user double-clicks into the text box and selects the text inside it, which is now highlighted light blue. The user clicks on buttons in the top toolbar for Bold, Italic, and Underline, applying and then removing each of these styles to the text on the canvas.

NOTE: Certain fonts don't include bold or italicized versions in their design

Adjust the alignment

Click the text box and highlight the text.

Click the Text Alignment drop-down button on the top toolbar. Select a different direction from the drop-down menu: left, right, center or justified.

A partial view of a canvas in the Venngage Editor shows a design with a light blue background, and text in a text box that reads 'Scholarship Program Application'. A user selects the text in the text box and then clicks on the Alignment menu in the top toolbar, expanding it. Icons showing the different alignment types are visible in the menu; the user clicks on the 'Center' alignment. The text on the canvas changes from a 'Left' alignment to a Center alignment.

Change the line height

Click the text box and highlight the text.

Click the Line Height button and select a new height. Click anywhere on the page to apply the new line height.

A partial view of a canvas in the Venngage Editor shows a design with a light blue background, and text in a text box that reads 'Scholarship Program Application'. A user selects the text in the text box and then clicks on the Line Height menu in the top toolbar, expanding it. A list of different numbers, indicating line height spacing, appears in the drop down; the user scrolls down the list and changes the line height to 2. The text on the canvas reflects the change, with a horizontal space appearing between the words 'Scholarship Program' and 'Application'. The user opens the Line Height menu again and changes the Line Height from 2 to 1, changing the line height on the design canvas, where the words now appear much closer together.
