A Tree Map Chart helps you visualize hierarchical data using nested rectangles, where the size of each rectangle represents numerical values. This is useful for comparing proportions within categories.
- Navigate to the Charts section.
- Scroll down to find "Other".
- From there, select the Tree Map and click on it to add it to your canvas.
You can use the bounding box around the chart to resize it, making it larger or adjusting the proportions as needed.
Editing the Tree Map Chart
To open the edit menu, double-click on the chart.
Data Tab
- Import Data: Add data by uploading a CSV or XLSX file.
- Table: Alternatively, you can manually enter the information directly into the chart’s table.

- Chart Style: You can customize the appearance of your tree map by changing the chart color and border color. Adjust the border width and corner rounding using a slider or by entering a specific number. Additionally, you can enable or disable patterns for added texture and choose between a square or column layout.
- Label: Choose whether to display labels 1 or 2, and customize the font face, size, and style.
- Legend: You can enable or disable the legend. Once enabled, you have the option to customize its appearance, including the font face, size, and style.
