What are Hotspots?
Hotspots are a feature designed to help you identify interactive elements within a document when you are in preview or share mode. These interactive elements might include features such as expandable charts and interactive labels.
How Hotspots Work
When you open a document or navigate to a different page, hotspots will initially pulse to highlight which areas are interactive. For example:
-
Expandable Interaction: Clicking on it will increase their size, allowing you to view them in a larger format. This feature works for images, QR codes, charts, maps, and groups containing these.
-
Interactive Labels: These labels appear when you hover your mouse over the element. This feature provides additional information or context that is not immediately visible. Interactive labels work for icons, images, shapes, lines, charts, and maps.
How do I find the hotspots?
To view hotspots, click the hotspot button in the lower right corner of the screen while in preview or share mode. This will reveal all interactive elements on the page.
Note: Hotspots are only available while you are in preview or share mode and are not be visible in downloaded documents.
