Incorporating GIFs into your design can make your visuals more dynamic and engaging! Use GIFs to add motion, emotion, or a touch of humor to your content — perfect for presentations, social posts, and digital infographics.

How to Add a GIF

1. Open the Elements panel
   On the left side of the Editor, click Elements.

   

2. Select the GIF option
   In the Elements section, click GIF to open the GIF library.

   

3. Search for a GIF
   Use the search bar to find a specific GIF by typing related keywords (e.g., happy, celebration, computer), or browse by category such as Question, Arrow, Confetti, or Checkmark.

   

4. Add the GIF to your design
   Click on the GIF you like — it will automatically appear on your design canvas.

5. Adjust as needed
   Move, resize, or position your GIF anywhere on your page to fit your layout.

💡 Before sharing your design, use Preview mode to see your GIFs in action! This helps ensure they loop and display correctly in your shared version.

Notes and Limitations

⚙️ GIF animations only work when shared online.

• The GIF will animate when you share your design via a Venngage link.

• This is because GIFs require a dynamic environment to play the animation.

📥 Downloaded designs will display GIFs as static images.

• If you download your design (as PNG, PDF, or other formats), the GIF will appear frozen on a single frame.

• Most downloadable formats don’t support motion graphics, so the animation won’t play offline.
