Venngage makes it easy to customize icons — from size, orientation, and color to layering and hyperlinks — using our upgraded Editor. Choose from hundreds of icons available in our extensive catalog to make your designs stand out.

Reposition or Resize Icons

1. Move an icon: Click the icon and drag it to your desired position on the design canvas.

2. Resize: Drag the handles on the corners to adjust its size proportionally (maintaining its aspect ratio).

3. Use alignment guides: Pink lines will appear automatically as you move the icon to help you align it with other elements.

4. Adjust layers: Click Layers on the top-right toolbar and use Move to front or Move to back to reorder icons.

Flip or Rotate Icons

1. Select your icon.

2. On the top toolbar, click Resize Object to open rotation and flip options.

   

3. Use Flip Horizontal to flip your icon along its horizontal axis.

   

4. To rotate, enter a specific angle in the Rotate field or use the rotate handle on the icon itself.

   

Change Icon Color

1. Select the icon.

2. Click the Color Tool on the top toolbar.

   

3. Choose a new color from:

   • Color Picker

   • Project Colors or Swatch Colors

   • Brand Kit Colors (available for Business users)

     

4. You can also adjust opacity and brightness directly in the Color Tool.

Add or Edit a Hyperlink

Add a Link

1. Select your icon.

2. Click the Link icon on the top toolbar.

   

3. Type or paste your URL in the text field (or choose a page within your design).

   

4. Click Save changes.

   

Change or Remove a Link

• Change: Select the icon, edit the URL, then click Save changes.

• Remove: Select the icon, clear the URL in the text field, then click Save changes.

Use Fill Percentage for Dual-Color Icons

You can apply two colors to any mono-color icon to represent data or add visual contrast.

1. Add a mono icon to the canvas or select one you’ve already added.

2. On the top toolbar, click Color Fill %.

   

3. Select a percentage (less than 100%) to split the color fill — use the slider or enter the value manually.

   

4. A second Color Tool will appear—customize both colors as you wish.
