Want to reuse your icons, images, or text across multiple designs? Venngage makes it easy! You can quickly copy and paste elements—like icons, text boxes, smart charts, and shapes—between different pages or designs using simple keyboard shortcuts.

Step 1: Open your designs

Open each design in a separate browser tab. When you copy an element, it’s temporarily saved to your clipboard so you can paste it into another design.

Step 2: Select the items to copy

Select all the elements you want to copy from your design canvas. You can:

• Hold down Shift and click each item individually, or

• Click and drag your cursor over multiple items to select them all.

A blue bounding box will appear around your selected items—anything outside the box won’t be copied.

Step 3: Copy and paste the items

To copy, right-click and select Copy, or use:

• Ctrl + C (Windows)

• Command + C (Mac)

Then, switch to the browser tab with your other design and paste with:

• Ctrl + V (Windows)

• Command + V (Mac)

The pasted items will appear grouped together. Use the corner handles to resize them or ungroup them if needed.

Troubleshooting

• One of my items didn’t copy—why?
  Locked elements won’t copy. Unlock the item first, then try copying again.

• My background didn’t copy over—what do I do?
  Design backgrounds set using the Background tool won’t copy, but you can easily recreate them in the new design. If your background is made of shapes or images, just unlock and copy those.

• The pasted items don’t fit on the new page—how can I fix it?
  If your new design has a different canvas size, either resize the page under Page Settings or manually adjust the copied elements to fit.
