Venngage makes it easy to manage and adjust your flowchart shapes, even if something seems to go missing or out of place.

I lost a shape at the top of my diagram. How do I get it back?

If you add a shape above another in your diagram, it might move outside the visible canvas area due to auto-layout.

To fix this:

  1. Select the starting shape of your diagram.

  2. Click and drag the entire diagram downward until the missing shape becomes visible.

  3. Make your adjustments or reposition the shape as needed.

How do I add a line or arrow to connect two shapes?

  1. Hover over a shape to reveal its connection points.

  2. Click and drag from one connection point to another shape’s connection point to create a connecting line or arrow.

How do I make my new shape match the style of another shape?

  1. Click a connection point on the existing shape.

  2. Choose “Add the same object” from the options that appear.

  3. The new shape will match the style and format of the original shape automatically.

Tip: If your diagram becomes difficult to navigate, zoom out using the zoom controls in the Editor to easily locate and reposition all elements.
