Creating a funnel or pyramid chart in Venngage is easy and helps you visualize your data. A funnel chart represents stages in a process, typically showing a decreasing trend, while a pyramid chart displays hierarchical data in a triangular format.

  1. Navigate to the Charts section.
  2. Scroll down to find "Hierarchical".
  3. From there, find the Funnel or Pyramid Chart and click on it to add it to your canvas.

You can use the bounding box around the chart to resize it, making it larger or stretching the sides as needed.

Editing the Chart

To open the edit menu, double-click on the chart.

Data Tab

  • Import Data: Add your data by uploading a CSV or XLSX file.
  • Number Format: Customize the number format by adding prefixes or suffixes, setting separators, and adjusting the precision.
  • Table: Alternatively, you can manually enter the information directly into the chart’s table.

Setup Tab

  • Chart Style: Modify the chart’s appearance by adjusting the chart color, border color, and border width. You can also enable or disable patterns for added texture.
    • For a funnel chart, you have an option to adjust the neck width, and height.
  • Label: Configure the display of labels by choosing whether to show categories and values. Decide if labels should be inside or outside the chart, and adjust the width of the connectors if labels are placed outside. You can also customize the font face, size, and style of the labels.
  • Legend: You can enable or disable the legend. Once enabled, you have the option to customize its appearance, including the font face, size, and style.
