You can change how your map chart displays data by selecting a different map type.

How to Change the Map Type

1. Click or press Tab + Spacebar to select the map chart — or simply click directly on the map on your canvas.

2. Double-click the map, or click Edit Map in the top toolbar to open the Edit Map panel.

   

3. Under the Data tab, select your preferred Map Type from three options: 
   - Choropleth map – Displays data as color gradients across regions.
   - Bubble map – Uses circles (bubbles) to show data points.
   - Monochrome map – Uses a single color tone for a clean, simple look.

   

4. The changes will appear automatically on your design canvas.
