Venngage offers multiple contemporary font options in the upgraded Editor, and the option to upload your own custom fonts.

Change font face

Select the text box (click with the cursor or select it with Tab + Spacebar).

From the top toolbar, select the Font family menu and open the widget.

Scroll down the list of fonts and select a font face from the list:

  • Brand fonts  – any custom font uploaded in a Brand Kit
  • Document fonts – fonts that already appear in the design template
  • All fonts – royalty-free fonts provided by Venngage

You can also search for a font by typing the name in the search bar at the top of the Font widget.

A partial view of a canvas in the upgraded Venngage Editor shows a light blue background. A text box on the canvas shows medium-size text in a black, sans serif font. A user selects the Font Family drop-down in the top toolbar, opening the Font widget. A list of fonts appears in the Font drop-down; the user scrolls down the fonts, then, using the search bar at the top of the widget, types in a font name. The widget displays the results of the search and the user selects a new font from the list.

Using a custom font

Want to use a custom font from a Brand Kit you've set up? Select the Brand Kit from the Brand fonts drop-down in the font widget when you open it. The fonts associated with that Brand Kit will appear under the Brand fonts heading.

A partial view of a canvas in the upgraded Venngage Editor shows a presentation slide with a dark background and light blue text. A user clicks on the title of the slide to select that text box. Tools for customizing the text's appearance appear in the top toolbar. The user clicks on the Font Family drop-down in the top toolbar and expands it. At the top of the widget is a search bar, and under that is the heading Brand fonts. Beside this heading, a drop-down appears; the user clicks it, and two options are listed, representing the Brand Kits the user has set up. The user selects the VENNGAGE Brand Kit from the drop-down and the custom fonts listed under the heading change. The user selects one of the custom fonts and the text box on the canvas is changed so that the text appears in that font.

Change font size

Select the text box (click with the cursor or select it with Tab + Spacebar).

From the top toolbar, use the Text Size widget to increase or decrease the text size. You can use the plus or minus buttons to adjust the size in small increments, or select the number that appears in the center field to open the drop-down and select a different number, or type a custom number inside.

A partial view of a canvas in the upgraded Venngage Editor shows a light blue background. A text box on the canvas shows medium-size text in a black, cursive font. A user selects the text box and uses the Text Size widget in the top toolbar to change the size, making it larger and smaller.

You can also change the size of the text box to adjust how text appears in it.

  • Use the bounding box handles with the cursor to click and drag and resize the text box area; or,
  • use the keyboard to resize holding the CTRL (Windows) or CMD (Mac) key and the arrow keys to make the box large or smaller by 1px. Hold SHIFT in addition to CTRL/CMD to increase or decrease the size with the arrow keys by 10px.
