Edits not Saving or Displaying in Your Design? Try This

Sometimes, the edits you make to a design may not save due to network interruptions, VPN or firewall interference, or temporary communication issues between your device and Venngage’s servers.


Steps to Troubleshoot

1. Check browser compatibility

Venngage works best on the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Make sure your browser is updated for full compatibility.

2. Refresh or reset your browser

Cached data can interfere with edits. Try refreshing using the shortcuts below:

  • Chrome (Windows): Ctrl + F5

  • Chrome (Mac): Cmd (⌘) + Shift + R

  • Firefox (Windows): Ctrl + F5

  • Firefox (Mac): Cmd (⌘) + Shift + R

  • Safari (Mac): Go to Safari > Settings > Privacy, delete cookies, then clear history (History > Delete History). Shortcut: Opt + Cmd + E, then refresh with Cmd + R.

  • Internet Explorer / Edge: Venngage isn’t optimized for these browsers — switch to Chrome or Firefox for the best experience.

3. Log out and log back in

Sign out of Venngage, then sign back in to refresh your connection and reload your design.

4. Check your network connection

A weak or unstable network may prevent your edits from syncing. Try resetting your Wi-Fi, reconnecting to a stable network, or disabling VPNs or firewalls temporarily.


Will My Design be Saved If I Disconnect?

Yes — Venngage autosaves your changes in real time. You can confirm this by checking the autosave timestamp in the top toolbar.

 

If Your Design Doesn’t Load (blank screen or spinning loader)

If your design fails to open or stays on a loading screen:

  1. Clear your browser cache and refresh the page.

  2. Disable any browser extensions, ad blockers, or VPNs that may interfere with loading.

  3. Try opening the design in an incognito or private window to rule out cached or cookie-related issues.

  4. Restart your browser and try again.

If it still doesn’t load, contact info@venngage.com and include your design URL and a brief description of what happens when you try to open it.
