Layering helps you control the order of objects in your design, whether you want one image to be placed behind another or text to be positioned in front of a shape. In Venngage, you can easily arrange layers using the top toolbar or the right-click menu.

Using the Top Toolbar

You’ll find the layering tools on the top toolbar—these let you move elements forward or backward with just one click:

• Move to Front

  • Click the item.

  • Select Move to Front to bring it to the very front of your design.

• Move Forward

  • Click the item.

  • Select Move Forward to shift it one layer up.

• Move Backward

  • Click the item.

  • Select Move Backward to shift it one layer down.

• Move to Back

  • Click the item.

  • Select Move to Back to send it behind all other elements.

Using the Right-Click Menu

• Click the item.

• Right-click to open the context menu.

• Choose Arrange → Move Forward / Move Backward / Move to Front / Move to Back depending on how you want to reorder it.

Use layering to create depth and focus in your design—for example, place text over shapes or move decorative elements behind your main content to keep it clean and balanced.
