Find a stock gradient image using Photos search
Click Photos on the left menu.
Type “gradient” into the Photo Search bar. You can narrow your search by including more specific descriptors, like "purple gradient" or "rainbow gradient".
Click or drag your gradient image onto the page. Resize the image so that it fits your design canvas, by dragging the image handles at the corners and edges.
Use the Move to Back button in the top toolbar to set the photo as the background layer of the design.
From here you can also set the opacity of the image to make it appear lighter or more vibrant. Use the Opacity menu in the top toolbar (a drop-down menu with the image of an eye in it).
Select the number you want to change the opacity of the image.
Replace a background image with a gradient
Select the background image. Clicking it once will select it and bring up the Replace tool in the top toolbar; double-clicking it will open the Replace modal automatically. Click "Replace" on the top toolbar if you selected the background image with one click.
From the Replace Menu modal, select the Photos tab.
Type “gradient” into the Photo Search bar. You can narrow your search by including more specific descriptors, like "purple gradient" or "rainbow gradient". Click on the photo you want to use to replace the one in your design.
