You can add lines, borders, shapes, and symbols from the left sidebar in the Venngage Editor.
Add a Line or Border

In the left sidebar, click on Icons to expand the menu.

Click on the Connecting Lines category to open the options.
- From the gallery, click on a line to add it to your design canvas.
4. You can also use the Icon Search to narrow your results. Simply type in your search term and click the magnifying glass icon or press Enter on your keyboard.
Resize a Line

Change thickness: Adjust the line weight from the top toolbar.
- To rotate a line, drag one of the circular handles located at its ends.
Resize a Border
- Resize: Drag the bounding box handles around the border.

Rotate: Use the circular arrow at the bottom of the bounding box and drag to change orientation.
Add and Resize a Shape or Symbol

In the left sidebar, click Icons.

Type “Symbols” in the search bar to browse.
Symbols are abstract, pre-colored icons.

To add a shape, type “Shapes” in the search bar or open the Shapes & Lines category from the Icons section.
Shapes are simple geometric elements that can be fully customized.
Once selected, the shape or symbol will appear on your design canvas.
Resize or adjust shapes and symbols:

Resize: Click the object and drag the bounding box handles.
Use corner handles to resize proportionally.
Use side handles (for shapes only) to resize one side.
Rotate: Click the circular arrow at the bottom of the bounding box and drag to change orientation.
Customize shapes: Change color, size, orientation, and fill.
Customize symbols: Adjust size and rotation (colors are preset and can’t be changed).
