Duplicate a design

Create an identical copy of a design from your My Designs page or from inside the Editor. 

Copy (duplicate) a design from the My Designs Page

Access the "Home" page. 

Click the kebab menu (three vertical dots) on the thumbnail of the design you want to copy.

From the Templates page on the Venngage website, a user clicks 'Home' in the top toolbar, and the user's My Designs page loads. The user scrolls down the page to the heading Designs, and clicks on the kebab menu of a design thumbnail. From the menu, the user selects Make a Copy. A copy of the design appears to the right of the original design thumbnail, with the word 'Copy' in the title.

 

Click "Make a Copy" in the menu. 

A duplicate of the design will appear next to the original design thumbnail.

The design will have the same name, with the prefix "Copy", e.g., 'Financial Statement Template' becomes 'Copy - Financial Statement Template'. 

Copy (duplicate) a design from inside the Editor

Open the design you want to duplicate in the Editor. Click Settings on the top right corner. on the top toolbar.

From inside the Venngage Editor, a user clicks the Settings tool, which appears as a gear icon in the top toolbar to the right of the editing tools. The Setting menu opens and displays headings related to changing the page size, and underneath that are two buttons, one for saving the design as a template and the other to Make a Copy. The user clicks Make a Copy and the duplicate of the design opens in the Editor. The user then clicks Home in the menu above the top toolbar, returning to their My Designs homepage, and the duplicated design now appears in the first position under the heading Designs.

 

Click "Make a Copy". The duplicate design will open in the Editor, allowing you to make changes to it immediately. 

Back on your My Designs page, the duplicate design will appear with the title of the original design, with "_new" at the end of the file name: e.g., the duplicate of "Modern Proposal" will be titled "Modern Proposal_new".
