What Makes a Download Accessible?

Creating accessible designs ensures everyone, including users with disabilities, can access and understand your content.

To make your design accessible, download it as a PDF or share it using a Venngage link.
Venngage’s PDF downloads comply with the international PDF/UA (Universal Accessibility) standard, making them compatible with screen readers and assistive technologies.

⚠️ Note: If you download or share your design as a PNG or PNG HD, assistive technology users (such as screen readers) won’t be able to access the design’s content.

How to Download Your Accessible Design

  1. Click the Download icon (downward arrow) in the top toolbar.

  2. (Optional) Use the Accessibility Checker to review your design and fix any accessibility issues before downloading.

  3. Click Download, then choose PDF as the file format to ensure compatibility with accessibility tools.

Sharing Images Accessibly

If you prefer sharing your design as an image (PNG or PNG HD), include alt text or a brief image description when posting or sending it.

This helps users who rely on assistive technologies better understand your visuals, especially when your design contains charts, infographics, or data visualizations.
