Add a bullet (unordered) list or numbered (ordered) list to a text box.

A colorful canvas appears in the Venngage Editor, with a photo of a person wearing glasses and smiling, and a large text box highlighted with a pink quotation icon, overlaid on a white box. A user double-clicks into the text box and selects the bottom half of the text, then clicks the 'Ordered List' button in the top toolbar. The text in the text box appears as a numbered lists, with items 1-3.

Select the text you want to style with a list. You can do this a few of ways:

  • Hit 'Return' (Enter) on your keyboard at the start of each line, then select the text and apply the list styling by clicking the button in the top toolbar.
  • Select the text you want to include in the list; apply the list style; then go to the end of each line item of your list and hit 'Return' (Enter) to add a new point.
  • Add a text box; then select the list style in the top toolbar to apply it to the entire text box. Type your list items, hitting 'Return' (Enter) to start a new bullet or numbered item as you go.

A partial view of a colorful canvas which appears in the Venngage Editor, with a photo of a person wearing glasses and smiling, also shows a large text box highlighted with a pink quotation icon, overlaid on a white box. A user double-clicks into the text box and selects the bottom half of the text, then clicks the Bulleted List icon in the top toolbar. The text in the text box on the canvas appears as a list with three items. The user clicks the Bulleted List icon again, and the bullet list is removed.

To remove or change list styling, select the list text and click the list style in the top toolbar until it is removed; to remove the styling from one line in the list, click into that line and then click on the list style to remove it or change it.

On a canvas with a light blue background, a text box appears with the words 'Scholarship Program' and underneath that, a bulleted list with the items: Application, References, Essay and Address. A user clicks into the text box and moves the cursor to the place in front of the word 'References'; then the user clicks the Bulleted List icon in the top toolbar. The bullet is removed from the item 'References' in the list, but remains for the other three items. The user then clicks the Ordered List icon in the top toolbar, and the item References appears with a number '1.' next to it in the list, while the other items are still bulleted.
