Automatically replace images already on your design canvas with the Image Replace menu in Venngage's upgraded Editor.

Open the Replace Menu

Click an icon or a photo on the design canvas to select it. Select Replace on the top toolbar to open the Replace menu.

A design canvas open in the upgraded Venngage Editor, with a series of 8 photographs of children arranged in a 2 by 4 grid, under the heading Annual Report 2027-2028. A user clicks on the first photo in the top row. The top toolbar menu shows a Replace button when the photo is selected; the user clicks this button. From the left sidebar, the Replace menu opens to the Photos tab. The user types 'children' into the search bar and the search returns royalty-stock photos of children doing different activities; the user selects an image from the search results and it automatically replaces the image selected on the design canvas, keeping the original image's dimensions.

Other ways to access the Replace menu:

  • Mouse: Double-click on a photo or icon on the design canvas
  • Keyboard: Use the TAB key to select a photo or icon, then press Enter twice to open the Replace menu

From the left sidebar, the Replace menu opens to the Photos tab. The user clicks on the Icons tab, which shows multiple categories of different icons available in the Editor. The user selects an icon and it replaces the photo they selected on the canvas.

Replace with your own image

Click an icon or a photo on the design canvas to select it; then select Replace on the top toolbar to open the Replace menu. Or, double-click on the icon or photo you want to replace to automatically open the Replace menu.

Click the Uploads tab to open the gallery of images you've already uploaded to the Editor.

An accessible design is open on the canvas in the upgraded Venngage Editor. A user double-clicks on a blue icon of a media player on the canvas. The Replace menu opens in the left sidebar. The user closes the menu, then clicks on the icon again, then clicks 'Replace' in the top toolbar to reopen the Replace menu. The menu opens to the Icons tab. The user clicks the Uploads tab, and the panel displays a gallery of images previously uploaded by the user in the Editor. The user then clicks and drags a file from their device's file explorer and drops it into the Drag & Drop zone in the panel. The file, a Clipart image of a painter's palette with a brush, appears in the gallery of image uploads. The user selects the icon from the gallery, and the painter palette replaces the icon of the blue media player, in the same position on the design canvas.

Select one of the images, or upload a new image to replace the selected image on the canvas.
