Using Comment Mode

Who can use the comments feature?

Anyone who is part of a Business Team or an Enterprise Group can use the comments feature.

You can even leave comments as notes for yourself on your own design!

Leaving comments in Comment Mode

Open your design in the Venngage Editor and enable Comment Mode: click the "Comment" speech bubble icon in the right corner of the top toolbar.

A yellow frame will border your design so you know "Comment Mode" is on:

A user clicks the comment icon in the top right corner of the toolbar in the Venngage Editor. A thin yellow border appears around the canvas in the Editor. The user clicks on the design canvas and types into a modal (box) that says 'Add a comment'. They click the green button on the modal with a paper plan icon to post the comment.

 

Click anywhere on the canvas to add a comment, or review comments other Team or Group Members have already left. You can also reply to other user's comments.

Click the green paper plane icon to post the comment to the spot on your design.

Filtering comments 

Open the Comment Mode menu with comment mode enabled and click "Hide comments" to hide all comments on the design canvas. This will also automatically disable comment mode.

A user clicks the comment icon in the top right corner of the toolbar in the Venngage Editor. A thin yellow frame becomes visible around the design in the Editor, and the user clicks the comment mode control menu at the top of the design canvas. From the menu they click 'Hide comments', disabling comment mode and hiding all comments pins on the design, as described above.

 

VENNGAGE MAKES IT EASY

It's easy to see comments left on your designs! When
Comment Mode is disabled, all resolved comments are
hidden, and the yellow border around the design canvas disappears.
Comments that are not resolved will still appear on the canvas,
in the form of comment pins. Just click on one
to expand it and see the comment.

Turn off Comment Mode

Click on the "Comment" (speech bubble) icon in the toolbar again.

When commenting is disabled, you will no longer see the yellow Comment Mode frame around the canvas, or the comments.

Exit comment mode by clicking on the speech bubble Comment icon in the top right toolbar.
