Something on the canvas just not clicking? Get rid of it with just one...well, click!

Click the item you want to delete to select it.

When you see the blue selection (bounding) box around it, it's selected.

A design canvas in the Venngage Editor shows a presentation slide with a white and green background, a circular image of a white and orange building, and text to the right side of the slide. A user clicks on different elements on the design canvas, including the image, and the text boxes, and different tools for managing the elements appear in the top toolbar, including the Delete icon, which the user highlights by moving their cursor over it. The user then clicks to select the text box that contains the heading VISION AND VALUE PROPOSITION, and clicks Delete in the top toolbar, and the text box is removed from the design canvas.

Hit the delete key on your keyboard or click the trash icon in the top toolbar (pictured below).

The top toolbar of the Venngage editor, with the Trash (Delete) icon highlighted by the mouse.

NOTE: If you deleted something by accident, bring it back with the Undo button (on the keyboard, CMD+Z for Mac or CTRL + Z for Windows).

For design elements like text boxes, clicking into the box will let you delete words within the text box without deleting the text box itself

A design canvas in the Venngage Editor shows a presentation slide with a white and green background, a circular image of a white and orange building, and text to the right side of the slide. A user clicks into a text box on the design canvas, and deletes the text inside of it. The bounding box of the empty text box is still visible on the design canvas.

Delete the text box by clicking on the border of the bounding (selection) box and click Delete in the top toolbar or on your keyboard.
