Use the Timeline tool underneath your video canvas to edit, rearrange, delete or duplicate scenes. 

What is a scene? 

Scenes are individual clips you can add to the Timeline. Change scene duration and edit their contents using the canvas. Scenes can be of any duration, with maximum total runtime of 30 seconds.

Add a scene

Browse video templates in the library and add individual scenes to your video. To add, duplicate, or delete a scene, hover your mouse over a scene and click the three dots icon “•••”. This can also be done via the action menu or with keyboard shortcuts.

There are three ways you can add a scene:

• Click the + in the Timeline.

• Click the “•••” icon on the scene and select Add Scene.

• Click the + button in the Templates Library if you want to work with an existing template.

Duplicate a scene

There are three ways you can duplicate a scene:

• Click the “•••” icon on the scene you want to duplicate and select Duplicate Scene.

• Right-click on the scene you want to duplicate and select the Duplicate Scene.

• Select the scene you want to duplicate and click Duplicate in the Action Menu or hit Ctrl C + Ctrl V on the keyboard.

Delete a scene

There are three ways you can delete a scene:

• Click the “•••” icon on the scene you want to delete, select Delete Scene.

• Right-click on the scene you want to delete, select Delete Scene.

• Select the scene you want to delete and click Delete in the Action Menu or hit delete/backspace on your keyboard.

Organize the scenes in a video

Arrange scenes by dragging and dropping them in your desired order.

Adjust the length of a scene

There are two ways to change the scene duration:

• Click the “•••” icon and select Change Duration.

• Hover over a scene and select the duration icon.

This opens up a small pop-up screen on the bottom left where you can make changes. Drag the slider to adjust to the desired scene duration in seconds. You can also use the up/down arrows to add or subtract one second at a time.
