If you already have labels on a chart, click them once. If not, double-click on your chart. 

Click Show Labels. If you want to add a symbol to an axis, click either Show Y-Axis or Show X-Axis.

Enter the symbol in either the Prefix or Suffix box.

Click the green Save button on the top right corner of the chart menu.

3. Enter the symbol in either the Prefix or Suffix box.
4. Click the green Save button on the top right corner of the chart menu.

Select a format for your labels. For example, if you select the Currency format, a dollar sign is added to your labels. You can replace it with another currency symbol in the Prefix box.

You can add a percentage symbol (i.e %), currency (i.e $) symbol, and more to your chart.
